Titan I Missile Silo Adventures Begins

So today I begin this blog about the Titan I Missile Silo in Adams County, Wa.

This structure was built in 1960 to house 3 Titan I nuclear missiles.

It was de-activated in 1965 and has been the basis of many local folk lore adventures including 2 murders and 1 death by accident.

Here are some links to more info about this site.

The goal of this blog is to centralize all the links to information related to this site and to connect with anyone who has stories about this site. Former workers that helped build it. Any one who has ever visited and explored this site and shot photos of the above ground and lower levels of it.

The other goals of this site are to explore ideas for commercial development of the site into something that will allow the reconstruction of the site to a state that will allow commercial use of the facility for what ever type of activity would work there.

It is currently owned by a land developer and is for sale but the price tag is large and it will take a well funded commercial developer or investment group to do any thing with the property.
